Refurbished Memorial Gardens openingOn Saturday the 11th of September a celebration was held for the rerfurburbishment of the Memorial Gardens in Mytholmroyd. Well over 100 people attended and Mytholmroyd resident and D Day veteran Leslie Stewart cut the ribbon to open the gardens. Jade, who is also the secretary of Royd Regeneration, Mythyolmroyd's Town Team, involved in many of the recent improvements in the village, was the driving force behind this project, from fund raising to bulb planting.
